Pool Rats!

We just got back from a little trip to St. George. We had so much fun and it was a much needed get-a-way. The weather was so very nice and the girls loved every minute. We got there on Thursday and the first thing Brinnlee wanted to do, of course, was to swim. Tad bought her a new life jacket and it didn't take her long to get the hang of it. She LOVED being able to swim all by herself! Ady on the other hand did exactly what Brinn did when she was two. Back and forth from hot tub to pool. She would only get her feet in then she would switch. The pool was too cold and the hot tub too hot and, by the way, it's not a pretty picture seeing a 7 month pregnant lady struggling to stand up every time Adyson would change her mind!

Brinnlee was not afraid to do anything, and Tad is very good at encouraging her to do everything!

Bathing beauties!

On Saturday we went to the temple and to the visitors' center. We went on a tour called "God's Plan for Eternal Families." It was such a nice time to take a look at our family and to see how blessed we are to have each other. It was such a peaceful feeling to be on the temple grounds, we loved it! There were a couple brides there and the girls loved to see the "princesses". We even had to wait 15 minutes to see one of the brides come out of the temple, Brinnlee wouldn't let us miss it.

For some reason Adyson had a tasting fetish while we were there. She would lick everything! It was really grossing me out- eating her chap-stick, using the picnic table as a napkin, licking the fountain water, drinking the pool water- sick. Oh well, I guess the swine flu is no match for our little Ady.

It was a lot of fun for us to have friends with us. Here is Hillary and Dawson at the city center. They had a rock river and a huge water fountain. It was perfect for the kids and they had a great time.

  1. Way cute pictures! It looks like you guys had a blast! I love the picture of Ady with her tongue out! That's funny that she wants to taste everything, and yes, gross, very gross!! Ha ha. That picture of you guys at the temple is really cute. I can't wait to see you guys this weekend for Mother's Day. Thanks Heather for posting on my blog!
