Coops R Us
So I have needed to put up a post, and bragging rights, about the sweet chicken coop that Tad built. And I figured today was a great day since it is the 29th anniversary of Tad's birthday. Happy Birthday Shmoopy!! Anyway, after much research on said chickens, Tad came up with the plans for the coop. He carved it by hand using a solid piece of wood, child's play really. It has a door to where they roost, a drawer under the roost to clean the coop-poop, two doors on the run to let them out, a door to the top of the nesting box to retrieve eggs, and a garage for their Porsche. To be honest, I was a little reluctant to have chickens, but they are so clean and low maintenance, thanks to Tad. He really does think of everything and does an amazing job on anything he does. Sorry ladies -and gentlemen nowadays- but I got myself THE catch! Happy Birthday Tad, we all love you!

ReplyDeleteI told Jared about this to make him feel guilty about how our chicks are still living in a plastic bin. And it worked! So thank you, Tad, for making an incredible coop and thank you, Heather, for spreading the word.
